A Christmas Wish: From Stressed to Blessed

WOF 12 12 Pic1// Kenneth W. Hagin

Stress is something we have to deal with continually. Actually, this time of year there seems to be more stress on people. But God wants to help us with our stress!

Psalm 40:4 says, "Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust" (NKJV). You could also read this verse, "Stressed is that man who does not make the Lord his trust." Our Heavenly Father wants us to trust Him. He does not want us to live stressed out! So let's look at a few things that can cause stress in our lives and consider some ways to handle them.

A Call to Arms 2015: Putting Our Minds in Gear

CTA Article Pcture2Men of godly character aren't born; they're made. And the hundreds of men who attended the 2015 A Call to Arms Men's Conference put themselves in God's maintenance shop, expecting to leave changed for the better. The men were challenged to:

• Control their thoughts in order to live victoriously as Christians.
• Get up when life knocks them down, through the power of God within them.
• Be a godly leader by having vision and keeping that vision in front of those they lead.
• Keep their thoughts in the area of sexual desire under control.
• Maintain their health. Without it, they could lose even great wealth.
• Find one place to organize their thoughts, goals, dreams, and visions for the future.
• Remember that God sees greatness in every one of them.
• Have a great family by teaching them God's ways.

Here's a brief sample of what men heard during this powerful conference. Be sure to join us next year for A Call to Arms 2016, to be held November 3-5 on the Rhema campus in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Kindle the Flame 2015: Gearing Up for the Future

KTF Article 2Kindle the Flame is not your average women's conference. And the ladies who attend aren't average either. They come expecting to hear from God. They come expecting to receive His direction for their future. As ladies kept their expectation high this year, they got what they came for.

Throughout the three-day conference, ladies learned how to overcome every situation of life by taking baby steps with God. They discovered that peace should be the very foundation of all that they do. Women were also encouraged to love themselves, to see themselves the way God sees them. They learned to drink deeply of the rivers of God in order to move into His plans and purposes for their lives. And they took their places as members of God's special forces, armed with the Word, prayer, and Holy Ghost power. As Lynette Hagin told the ladies, "We are here on this earth for such a time as this! It's time for us to gear up."
