Heart to Heart: January 2013
// Kenneth W. HAGIN
"If You Were, You Is!"
Healing belongs to us! First Peter 2:24 says, "[Jesus] bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
This verse says, "By His stripes you were healed,"—not going to be, not maybe so, not hope so. You were healed! And if you were, "you is!" See, we need to understand that because of what Jesus accomplished at Calvary, healing has already been sent. All we have to do is believe and receive!
Our Authority in Christ
Timeless Teachings of Kenneth E. Hagin
God has provided a glorious inheritance for all believers. Our inheritance includes dominion over all the works of darkness, including sin, sickness, disease, and spiritual death.
But for us to take advantage of our authority in Jesus so we can successfully stand against the devil's strategies in every circumstance, the eyes of our spiritual understanding need to be enlightened.
God, Is That You?
// Kenneth W. HAGIN
"The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly."
— Proverbs 20:27
There's only ONE way you can successfully run the race God has set before you and live in His abundant provision. It's by learning how to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit as you listen to your heart—your recreated human spirit. Learning to be led by the Holy Spirit according to the Word of God is the most important lesson you'll ever learn in life.
What am I referring to when I say "listen to your heart"? Are you supposed to listen to your physical heart—to the muscle that pumps blood throughout your body? Of course not.
Pray for Our Leaders: Taking Our Place
// Kenneth E. HAGIN
Let's Keep on Praying
On January 31, 1983, Kenneth E. Hagin led a prayer meeting for our nation on the Rhema campus. The following is an abbreviated version of what he prayed that night:
Heavenly Father,
We come in the Name of Jesus—not our name, not our power, not our holiness, not even our goodness—but we come in the Name of Jesus, washed in His blood, robed in His righteousness. We come because You told us to come. You said in Your Holy Word for us to come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain help and grace to help in the time of need.
God's Honor Roll

WINTER BIBLE SEMINAR 2013 Speaker Highlight
In First Samuel 2:30 God says, "For them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed."
"Them that honor Me, I will honor!" This is a law—a principle—by which the Kingdom of God operates. When we honor God, we will be honored!
What does it mean to honor God? The Greek word used for honor in the New Testament means "to view as valuable; to view as precious." When we talk about honoring God, we're talking about valuing Him—and not just in church! We should value and esteem Him in every area of our lives.
