The Redline

the redline

 // Paul Foslien

The Koenigsegg CCXR is one of the fastest cars in the world. In 2.9 seconds it goes from zero to 62 mph. In another 6 seconds you'll reach 125 mph.

I once had an opportunity to drive this car on a two-mile airstrip. What I realized about driving at high speeds is that your perspective changes. You don't have a sense of how fast you're going or how quickly danger can come upon you.

The Value of Friendship

value of friendship

 // Kenneth W. Hagin

IN LIFE there are various types of relationships that we can be involved in. There is the divine relationship between God and man, the marriage relationship between husband and wife, and the family relationship between relatives. But there is another relationship that is very important, and that is our friendships.

Friendships can be a great blessing to our lives. Christian friends can help us achieve our goals and dreams. In the Bible we learn about many types of relationships. Let's see what Jesus said about the value of friendship.

Doing the Works of Jesus on Spring Break

peru

 // Rhema Missions

INSTEAD OF lounging on the beach during spring break, some Rhema Bible Training College students head to the mission field. Their goals: share Christ, get people saved, lay hands on the sick, and see God's miraculous power at work.

In March three student/alumni teams fanned out to Trujillo, Peru; Bangkok, Thailand; and a Navajo reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico.

Winning the lost is important to Kenneth W. Hagin. He never likes to end a service without giving people an opportunity to accept Christ as Savior. That same love for the lost has been instilled in the hearts of Rhema Bible Church members of all ages.

That's why Denise Burns, the church's Student Ministries pastor, took a team of 19 teens and 11 Varsity Youth leaders to Bogotá, Colombia, over spring break in March.

Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs

timeless teaching

 // Timeless Teaching Kenneth E. Hagin

IT'S GOD'S PLAN for Christians to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit and worship in the Spirit. The way we maintain a continual infilling and walk in the Spirit is through speaking divinely inspired utterances to the Lord.

These divinely inspired utterances can have several different means of expression. One way is to magnify and worship God in other tongues. We see this in Acts 10:46: "For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God." Paul also mentioned several other expressions.
