Nowadays it's not uncommon to hear about wildfires. With so many places experiencing drought, it doesn't take much for a fire to start. When the ground is dry and conditions are right, the smallest spark can start a fire that quickly becomes an uncontrollable blaze. And anything in its path is engulfed in flame.

Spiritually speaking, there's a lot of dry ground throughout the earth. There's a world full of people who don't know the Lord and who never think about God. They don't know how much He loves and cares for them or that He wants to help them in whatever they're going through.

One way to change this is for the Church to be on fire for God and burn so brightly that its flames consume
everything it touches.

Everything has been placed under Jesus' feet (Eph. 1:22). That includes the devil. Since we are a part of the Body of Christ, all things are under our feet as well. It doesn't matter what type of problem comes against us—physical, emotional, financial, family, and so forth. We can walk on top of every one of these situations.

Psalm 91:13 says, "Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder." This verse uses lions and adders to represent forces that are strong and fierce. It is literally talking about Satan and his demonic host. If we're treading on something, it means we're walking on it. In this case, we are supposed to walk on devils and demons.

TESTIMONY

Something was wrong. Doug Mitchell—husband, father of three, and bivocational pastor in Mount Kisco, New York—woke up with a headache unlike any he'd experienced before. It was excruciating—and he was also sick to his stomach.

As the day went on, the pounding in Doug's head only worsened. Nothing he did seemed to make things better. Concerned about dehydration, his wife, Christine, suggested they go to the emergency room. Agreeing, Doug managed to dress himself—a good sign. But then he proceeded to walk the wrong direction to the car. He was disoriented—and things weren't going to improve anytime soon.

Rhema USA Graduates 40th Class

Cheers and applause from family and friends greeted Rhema Bible Training College's 40th class as the 403 graduates filed into the Cox Business Center auditorium in Tulsa. Their caps and gowns showed clearly that they had successfully completed their training and were equipped and eager to enter the harvest fields of the earth.

Dr. Steve Houpe, pastor of Harvest Church International Outreach in Kansas City, Missouri, and a 1986 Rhema graduate, delivered the commencement address. Rev. Houpe exhorted the graduates to have courage to trust God for what He has called each of them to do.

You've got a lot of information—a lot of principles and steps. You have a lot of how-tos. But to implement all the things that the instructors have poured into your life over the last two or three years, it's going to take courage.
