Testimonies Prayer School

At Prayer School you'll see the Word of God in demonstration. You'll learn to hear your Heavenly Father's voice as never before. But don't take our word for it! Read what those who have attended Prayer School have to say about it.

"Prayer School puts a desire in you to seek God more—to see what He has. It's so important to pray out what God has ahead so you know which direction to walk in, and to realize that you know the voice of the Holy Ghost. When you know that you know, you act that way. It's changed me totally."
—Glenn
Norway

"Prayer School is another opportunity to learn and grow closer to God—to draw near to the throne room of Heaven. During prayer and worship, the anointing is so strong that you just enter in. You know you're getting answers and direction for your future. You're praying through things for Rhema, and you know you're going to get results."
—Leanne
Keokuk, IA

"Prayer School has helped me understand that I know Him. It has opened my eyes to the truth of who I am in Him and the part I am to play—which is to pray out the plan of God by faith by praying in the Spirit."
—Jill
Tulsa, OK

"Prayer School totally changed my prayer life. The things I've read in books by Brother Hagin, I've now begun to experience in my own life."
—Yoram

"Prayer School is actually like half of school. It's like the icing on top of the cake and is empowering to the end of my day."
—Timothy
Augusta, KS

"I've been going to Prayer School for almost two years now, and it has completely changed my prayer life and my relationship with God. You just get deposits—so much put into you. You don't realize how much you've gotten until you actually go out and spill it onto others."
—Laura
Verona, Italy

"I've been a Christian for many years, but coming to Prayer School I hear the Holy Spirit clearer. Not only that, but I am able to pray in a stronger, more powerful way than I did before. It just takes me to a new level in faith in my walk with Christ."
—Juanita
Las Vegas, NV

"At Prayer School I'm learning to pray out the plan of God, and I'm also learning that I know the Holy Spirit. I'm becoming increasingly more confident in the relationship I have with Him."

Prayer School is offered free of charge.

Who can attend Prayer School?
Prayer School is open to Rhema Bible Training College students and to the general public.

About Prayer School

Kenneth E. Hagin was born with a deformed heart and an incurable blood disease. Those conditions left him paralyzed and bedridden at the age of 15. Everyone around him told him to prepare for death. But he got light on Mark 11:23–24, and that sparked faith for healing in his young heart. On August 8, 1934, God raised Kenneth off the sickbed—completely healed and whole!

At that moment, God birthed something greater in Kenneth E. Hagin—a desire to see the lost saved and the sick made well. He began to preach and teach salvation and divine healing wherever he went. Though he didn't know it at the time, this was the beginning of what would become a worldwide ministry. It would be a ministry founded on prayer and the healing truths in God's Word.

PS KEHOver 40 years later, God began speaking to Kenneth about a change his ministry. And on October 1, 1979, prompted by the Lord, he started Prayer and Healing School.

At the outset, Rev. Hagin dealt with both prayer and healing in the same session. As time went on, however, he saw the need to separate the two so he could teach more on each subject.

Today, as in the beginning, people who attend Prayer School and Healing School learn how to pray out God's plan for their own lives and for the nations. They learn how to receive and keep their healing. And they learn by both precept and example how to minister healing to others.

Text 2

Kenneth E. Hagin went home to be with the Lord in 2003. But the anointing has only grown stronger on the Rhema campus and in Prayer School and Healing School. Rev. Hagin's son, Kenneth W. Hagin, and grandson, Craig W. Hagin, both minister with a strong healing anointing. And Lynette Hagin, wife of Kenneth W. Hagin, teaches on prayer around the world.

Frequently Asked Questions | Healing School

What is Healing School?
Healing School is an outreach of Rhema's Prayer and Healing Center. It is a place where the Word of God is taught and the sick are set free and healed. Trained Healing Technicians minister God's Word to those who attend just as a doctor would prescribe treatment. No matter the disease or circumstances, the Word promises an abundant life. Our Healing Technicians are sensitive to the Spirit of God and flow with Him. And based on God's Word, they expect every person to be healed.

What happens in a typical Healing School session?
Morning Healing School covers faith, healing, and other vital subjects. Teaching is coupled with one-on-one ministry by trained Healing Technicians. Those who attend benefit from an up-close, personal touch. They can ask questions, and Healing Technicians, ministering by the Spirit, can help with specific needs.

Afternoon sessions include praise and worship, teaching, and preaching. Like morning Healing School, afternoon Healing School is geared to help those who attend receive their healing—now!

How much does it cost to attend Healing School?
Healing School is offered free of charge.

Who can attend Healing School?
Morning sessions of Healing School are open only to the sick and those who accompany them. Afternoon sessions are open to the general public.

When is Healing School held?
Healing School runs morning and afternoon sessions throughout the year. Morning meetings are held at 9:30 in the Prayer and Healing Center on the Rhema campus. These meetings are open only to people in need of healing and those who are with them. Afternoon sessions are held at 2:15 in Student Development Center 1. These are open to Rhema Bible Training College students and the public.

How long should I come for?
Each Healing School morning session is specifically targeted to help you receive your healing. So we recommend that you attend for at least a week, Monday through Friday. But we encourage you to come for as many days as possible.

Can I come for several weeks?
Yes. There is no limit to how long you may attend morning Healing School.

Since morning Healing School is only for the sick and those who need healing, can someone come with me?
Yes. Anyone who comes with you may also attend Healing School.

Do you provide child care?
We do not provide nursery or child care during Healing School services. To help you receive the most out of every session, we recommend that you arrange child care for infants and small children.

Yes. If your child is the one in need of healing, you may bring him or her to Healing School to receive personal ministry. Or, if you prefer, you may attend alone.

Prayer and Healing Center Main

Real God. Real Results.

Prayer is vital to the Christian's walk with God. In the same way, the work being done at Rhema's Prayer and Healing Center helps keep Kenneth Hagin Ministries running strong. The Prayer and Healing Center is located in the heart of the Rhema USA campus in facilities completed in 1982. From here, staff members coordinate four main prayer and healing outreaches. These are Prayer School, Healing School, Prayer Partners, and Prayer Groups. Each outreach is designed to minister directly to the needs of people and help them gain the victory. We are passionate about seeing results!

  • Prayer Partners

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."
    - Matthew 18:19 (NIV 1984)

Would you like someone to agree with you in prayer? Telephone prayer lines are staffed by a dedicated team of volunteer prayer partners. The lines are open Monday - Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (CT). Just call (918) 258-1588, ext 5566, to speak with your Prayer Partner.

  • Prayer Groups

Throughout each day, Rhema Bible Training College students and alumni, as well as Rhema Bible Church members, gather to pray. More than 250 volunteers are divided into nearly 300 prayer groups. Each group has a specific prayer focus. We pray for Rhema and its leaders, and for Rhema Bible Training College's expansion around the world. And we also pray over prayer requests sent in by our ministry partners and friends.

If you have a request you'd like us to pray over, click here to submit it. Or you may mail your request to Kenneth Hagin Ministries, P.O. Box 50126, Tulsa, OK 74150-0126. There is power in prayer!

Testimonies from Healing School

For over 30 years, Rhema's Healing School has taught people how to receive and keep their healing. We've seen lumps and tumors dissolve, cancers disappear, and hearts return to normal. We've seen those given just a few weeks to live walk out healed and whole. But don't take our word for it. Check out some testimonies for yourself!

"I had breast cancer with metastasis to the spine, pelvis, lungs, and lymph nodes around the heart. After attending Healing School, hearing the Word, and receiving the laying on of hands, I am now cancer-free. A bone scan and blood work show no traces of cancer."
—H.L.
Oklahoma

"I had cardiomyopathy and heart failure. My heart was functioning at only 20 percent. Normal heart function is said to be 55 percent. I attended Healing School. I studied the Word that was taught and had hands laid on me for healing. I left and went back to my home and continued to listen to healing scripture tapes. I went back to my doctor to have this test done again and the results were wonderful. They showed my heart functioning at 50 percent. I feel so much better!"
—E.G.
Ohio

"I had been diagnosed with MS and had been attending Healing School for a time. I was confined to a wheelchair. I also fell and broke a bone in my leg. After sitting under the teaching of God's Word, I have learned so much. . . . With the laying on of hands, I have received strength to walk and I can stand pain-free. I am no longer in a wheelchair and my reflexes have improved in walking. The broken bone was healed and I am now able to walk up stairs and ride an exercise bike."
—W.F.
Oklahoma

"When I first went to Healing School, I couldn't even walk. I literally had to use a walker, because my thyroid was all messed up and doctors didn't know what to do. Over a period of several months, I continued to attend Healing School, and I went from a walker to a cane to nothing. My thyroid is now completely normal."
—Robin
Broken Arrow, OK

Diagnosis: Lupus
"I came to Healing School every day for two weeks. I went back home and had a checkup and the doctor was confused when she couldn't find it. I told her God healed me! The rashes, swelling, and aching joints are gone."
—Chameka
Cleveland, OH

"I fell and damaged my rotator cuff. After hands were laid on me, I could lift my right arm. I was also able to read scripture in my Bible for the first time in five or six years. And I got filled with the Holy Spirit."
—Mary (Age 89)
Crosby, Texas

"I had a sciatic nerve injury and partial hip replacement that caused me a lot of discomfort and pain. After prayer, my right leg straightened and my right hip popped. The soreness in my hip and weakness in my foot are gone. I move better than before."
—Nate
Tulsa, OK

"Due to a brain stem injury, I had nerve damage. I was experiencing weakness on my left side and was confined to a wheelchair because of my inability to walk. After attending Healing School, by the end of the week I was walking. I was out of the wheelchair the first day of Healing School, and today I ran for the first time in seven months! Glory to His holy Name!"
—J.P.
Alabama

"I was hospitalized in February 2005 for heart problems. The doctors said I had a scar tissue deposit in my heart and also left ventricular myopathy and my heart had thickened as a result. I started attending the morning sessions of Healing School. Three weeks ago, I had an EKG and an ultrasound of my heart. Yesterday, my doctor told me that my heart is totally healthy and I don't have left ventricular myopathy. My ventricles are healthy! My body is healed!"
—J.R.
Tulsa, Oklahoma

"I went to the hospital with bleeding of the lung and pneumonia. A recent CT scan showed lumps on my right lung. I've been going to morning Healing School, and during that time I've had hands laid on me in prayer. I went in yesterday for a bronchoscopy, and the doctor who did the procedure told me he found nothing in my lung. He said the lumps had shrunk and there was nothing to show for the past bleeding."
—D.A.
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

"When I came to morning Healing School on Monday, I came with excruciating lower back pain. It was very painful to sit during the teaching, but I continued Monday through Wednesday. When I came back the following Monday, I walked in with no pain! I'm healed! To God be the glory!"
—E.M.
Tulsa, Oklahoma

"I was suffering from swelling and spasms in my left hand and joint pain that kept me from being able to open my hand or move my shoulders. I recently woke up one morning at 4:30 when a friend called me on his way home from work to see if I had taken my medication. My left hand was swollen at the index joint and I couldn't open it. As I began telling my friend what I had been learning at morning Healing School and quoting scriptures to him, I tried to massage the pain from my joint. (In the past, it has taken me up to half a day to massage the pain away.) I said, "I learned by Jesus' stripes I was healed." As I spoke, suddenly the pain was gone and I was able to open my hand with no problem. The swelling is still gone. Thank you for all the loving care and preaching. I came feeling empty after four years of extreme pain. I am leaving with joy and healing!"
—S.G.
Frisco, Texas

"I was diagnosed with a tumor in my uterus. After sitting under the teaching of the Word and having hands laid on me, there is no tumor. Praise the Lord!"

Prayer School Scriptures

Prayer Scriptures

Matthew 18:18–20
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:18–20 (Message)
18–20 "Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there."

1 Timothy 2:1–3
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

2 Chronicles 7:14–15
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Romans 8:26
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

John 14:16–17 (Amplified)
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
