Special Meetings

Announce every day, ‘God has anointed me!’

Announce every day, ‘God has anointed me!’

When I think about Kenneth Hagin Ministries’ small beginnings, I am amazed by all that our Rhema graduates have accomplished. They are changing nations! Because our graduates have obeyed the call of God on their lives, millions around the world have been born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and healed through the power of God. None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for you—our friends and partners who have faithfully helped us with your prayers and financial gifts. Thank you for standing with us! Together, we are taking Jesus to the world!

Lynette and I just returned from visiting Rhema Bible Training Centers in Mexico and Colombia. We first flew to Mexico City where I was the commencement speaker at Rhema Mexico’s 10th graduation ceremony. After graduation, we ministered in two Sunday morning services at Rhema Bible Church Mexico.

Then we went on to Bogotá, Colombia, where Rhema Colombia just constructed a four-story building that houses Rhema Bible Church Colombia and Rhema Colombia. We dedicated the building, and the next night we held a healing crusade during which many people came forward to be healed and saved.

Because you are a vital part of the great things God is doing in Mexico and Colombia, we prepared a video and photographic journal of this trip for you. Simply visit www.rhema.org/media/specialmeetings. I believe you’ll be blessed to see the wonderful ministry that is happening in these two countries.

Along with telling you about our trip, I want to share some words that I believe will encourage you. In a world where many people are disillusioned and fearful about their economic situation, I’m reminded of how God took care of all the children of Israel after they came out of bondage in Egypt. And I’m confident that God can take care of all of His children today. Sure, I’m concerned about what I hear on the news. But I’m not consumed by what I hear, because my faith and hope are not in man. God is a miracle-working God! However, to receive everything that He has for us, we must believe in the supernatural power of God. And we must expect to see the supernatural manifested in our lives every day.

One of the best ways to learn how to flow in the supernatural is to look at Jesus’ ministry. He said of Himself, “ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18–19 NIV).

Notice that Jesus announced that He was anointed. Supernatural power is released when the right words are spoken. When the Word of God is spoken under the anointing, the power of God is set in motion. You may not see anything change right away, but rest assured that His Word is at work in your life.

So let’s follow Jesus’ example and announce every day, “God has anointed me!” Instead of saying, “Oh my, what’s going to happen today?” begin declaring, “I am anointed by the power of God to live in the supernatural. Today, I will release the power of God wherever I go!” You see, God honors faith. When you declare these things by faith, God is able to bring them to pass.

This message is so strong on my heart. I know it will help both you and the people you come in contact with every day. In our time, people need to experience the power of God. And if they’re going to see God’s power, they must see it in you and me. What Jesus did in His day is no different from what we need to be doing today. Every day, we can preach the Gospel wherever we are—not by getting behind a pulpit, but on our jobs and in our homes, with our words and our lives.
Now is the time for us to be bold about who we are in Christ. Let’s begin proclaiming freedom to those who are bound, healing to those who are sick, and bringing release to those who are pressed by life’s difficulties.

We have the supernatural power of God in our lives, so let’s demonstrate it wherever we go!

As you go about your daily activities, remember . . . you are anointed, and all of Heaven’s resources are at your disposal!

Lynette and I are continuing to carry out the tasks God has anointed us to do. We’re endeavoring to see that the men and women who graduate from Rhema Bible Training Center are trained to answer God’s call on their lives. We want to say thank you for hooking up with that vision. Without your financial support we would not be able to carry out this mandate.

Just as you must depend on your monthly income to meet your obligations, we also depend on each of you to listen to the voice of God and let Him speak to you concerning your financial support of this ministry. No gift is too large or too small—whether it is $5, $10, $25, $1,000, or more, when it all comes together, we are able to accomplish the Lord’s mission. The words that we often hear from our partners are, “We receive a quick return when we sow into your ministry.” We believe that this ministry is good ground.

Remember to look at the video and photos of our trip on the Web at www.rhema.org/media/specialmeetings. There is a link on that page through which you can give your offering. Or, if you prefer, you can mail your gift in the enclosed envelope. However you choose to give, Lynette and I want to thank you in advance for your generous support. Together, we can do the work. Our ministry is your ministry, and our reward is your reward.

This month our special offer is my newest book, Where Is God in My Storm? In this book I explore some of the very real trials faced by men of faith throughout the Bible. They trusted God to help them and He always brought them through. And as we trust God in our storms, He will bring us through too. This brand-new book is available for $10.95. I believe it will encourage you. Be sure to order your copy today.

By the grace of God and with your help, we are touching more lives than ever before. We love you and pray for God’s best in your life. You are a champion for God!

Yours in Christ,
Kenneth W. Hagin
