In the world we live in, we desperately need peace. The turmoil around us is mind-boggling. Reports of wars, earthquakes, floods, and every other type of calamity fill the news. It seems that the only things we hear about are tragedies.

It’s hard to believe that we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Lynette Hagin’s Kindle the Flame® Women’s Conference.

Many women who gathered on the RHEMA campus this past September have attended Kindle the Flame year after year since 2001. An equal number of women showed up for the first time.

When you walk by faith—when you do what the Bible says—you’re an oddity to others, even in the church world. They think something is wrong with you because you don’t worry.

“You’re stealing our children and turning our mosques into churches!”

Dan and Melinda Koehler and their team of teachers hear those words each week. But they’re happy to hear them, because it means the Koehlers are accomplishing their goal—reaching Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city, with the saving message of Jesus Christ.

Christians don’t have to lie down and let life run over them. Certainly, we all experience tests and trials at one time or another. But we serve a great God Who has made provision for us to overcome them. We simply need to know how to cooperate with Him so He can deliver us from whatever might affect us negatively.

There’s no slowing down at Kenneth Hagin Ministries. At Campmeeting 2010 Kenneth W. Hagin declared, “Stay with me. I’ll lead you to the mountaintop. I’m not going to be behind you. And you’re going to have to run to stay up with me.”

We have inspirational sayings that hang on our walls, and we have also placed them on our desks and other furniture at home. Many of these are scriptures that inspire us; some are the words of others that encourage us. For instance, one of the sayings that my husband has on his desk is, “When life gives you lemons—make lemonade.”
