You Are Designed for Victory!

Many people today are caught up in the struggle of simply trying to survive all the obstacles and opposition that life brings to them.

But we were not designed to be defeated. God’s original design for mankind was for us to be victors—to triumph and live above the limitations of life!

Through the years, there have been those who have defied all the odds. They’ve broken records, climbed mountains, and explored the unknown regions of this world. They’ve fought battles and triumphed, overcome terrible physical limitations, and risen from obscurity to places of great influence.

But the most important battles mankind will ever face are spiritual battles—the battle to escape the sinful nature; the battle to triumph over Satan, the tyrant of this world; and the battle to enter into the place of victory that God has designed for us. Man cannot win these battles on his own. We can never extract ourselves from sin without the help of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus won the victory for us so we can live in victory in 2010! He defeated Satan, the god of this world. He delivered us out of the devil’s dominion. Second Corinthians 2:14 boldly declares that God always leads His people in victory. He has a plan for each of us to have victory over every challenge and impossibility that we would ever face. And I want you to get a firm grip today on the fact that you are designed for victory!

As we celebrate Memorial Day this year, let’s also remember those who have shed their blood so America could have victory over her enemies. The blood they spilled has not been shed in vain. They have left us a legacy of victory that encourages us and stirs our hearts to press on and receive the victory in our own lives today!
