Rockets Over RHEMA Goes Off With a Bang!

A Fourth of July Celebration So Big It Started in June!

An estimated 20,000 people covered the 110-acre RHEMA Campus in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and another 15,000 to 20,000 were within a half-mile radius to experience the annual Rockets Over RHEMA celebration, sponsored by KXOJ 100.9 FM and The News on 6 KOTV. Vendors such as Best Buy, Steak n Shake, and Whataburger were on hand giving away free gifts.

Starting at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, there was plenty of family-friendly fun for children of all ages with inflatable games, pony rides, a mechanical bull, rock climbing wall, and a car show. Freedom Live, an annual Christian concert, started at 7:00 p.m. with The AXIS® Worship Band (RHEMA’s youth band), The Afters, Connersvine, and Mark Harris. Around 10:00 p.m. fireworks lit up the night sky for nearly 30 minutes, with a finale that blasted 930 fireworks high into the sky for the last 90 seconds!
