Winter Bible Seminar 2012 - Update 6

wbs12-friday

Friday, February 24. Doug Jones ministered in the 8:30 a.m. session on having longevity in what we do for God. It is easy to start something, but it’s not always easy to finish. Finishing a marathon requires more focus than beginning one. The same is true in ministry. “Paul promoted the Father’s interests no matter what he was facing,” he said. “The success of our lives and ministries depends on us promoting the Father’s interests.”

In the 9:30 a.m. session, Rhema Europe Director John Grunewald spoke about vision. In his message “I Didn’t Know I Could See That Far,” he touched on keys that can hinder or further God’s vision for our lives. “Vision should and will stretch you beyond you,” he said. “Vision must come from purpose. You don’t have to create your own vision.”

Rounding out an awesome week of Winter Bible Seminar services, Lynette Hagin continued to encourage attendees to rise to a higher level of knowing God. That comes, she explained, by meditating on the Word and fellowshipping with the Father in prayer. We shouldn’t run to Him just in times of crisis—we should learn to cast all of our cares on Him. When we stay sensitive to Him and instantly obey His instructions, He will take care of every situation.

During his Friday evening message ending Winter Bible Seminar & Rhema Worldwide Homecoming 2012, Kenneth W. Hagin said everything we see in the world today indicates that we are living in the Last Days. Nature seems to be unraveling around us and many nations are experiencing financial crises. But it’s not time to be afraid. It’s time to rise up in the glory of God and boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world. Now more than ever, we need to march around the globe proclaiming that Jesus saves, heals, and is coming soon. We have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this!

The sessions and gatherings of Winter Bible Seminar & Rhema Worldwide Homecoming 2012 edified, exhorted, and comforted those who attended in person and online. Join us February 17–22 right here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, for Winter Bible Seminar 2013!
