The High Price of Freedom

This is the time of year when we Americans celebrate the independence of this great and mighty nation. From the time America was established, people came to this country searching for freedom—freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to bear arms, and all the other freedoms we enjoy.

We are a power generation.
Our daily lives are surrounded with power. We have power appliances, such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves. Our garages are filled with power tools that include saws, drills, and routers. We drive vehicles with power engines, power brakes, power steering, power locks, and power windows. It seems as though we can’t survive without power.
There’s a revolution taking place among the youth of Uganda. And Matt and Angela Catinella, 2000 and 2001 RHEMA Bible Training Center graduates, are right in the middle of it. In a nation ravaged by the AIDS epidemic and increasing moral decline, a nation where youth are left to fend for themselves with little or no parental guidance, they are reaching out and making a difference—one youth at a time. “If we can train 20,” said Matt and Angela, “and 20 train 2,000, over time, we can reach a nation.”
