You Can Push Yourself and Go the Full Distance
// Craig W. Hagin
In a scene from the movie Facing the Giants, high school football coach Grant Taylor challenges Brock Kelly, captain of the Shiloh Eagles, to do the “death crawl” when Brock admits that he doesn’t believe they will win the upcoming game.
For the death crawl, an athlete carries a fellow teammate on his back while crawling across the football field without letting his knees touch the ground. Brock thinks he can make it to the 30-yard line. Coach Taylor believes he can go to the 50.
