Confession of God’s Word Builds Faith
// KENNETH E. HAGIN
WHENEVER THE WORD "confession" is used, we instinctively think of confession of sin. But that is the negative side of the word. There is a positive side, and the Bible has more to say about the positive than the negative.
Confession is stating something we believe in our hearts. It is giving evidence to something we know to be true. It is testifying to a truth we have accepted.
Driven By Compassion
SPECIAL REPORT
COMPASSION FILLS Paul DeNeui's heart when he visits nursing homes, assisted care, and mental health facilities. He ministers to those suffering from physical illnesses, many of whom are nearing the end of their lives.
When the residents gather in the facility's meeting room, a lot of them are hooked up to IVs. It can look like Paul stepped into a hospital intensive care unit rather than the common room of a nursing home. Many are discouraged, lonely, and afraid of life after death.
THIS IS ONLY A TEST
// CRAIG W. HAGIN
WHAT DO YOU do when you're facing trouble? I don't know how I would make it if I didn't have God! Every time it seems like the devil is hitting me left and right, something comes up on the inside—the Word.
My grandfather, Kenneth E. Hagin, always said that the number one reason why people do not get their needs met is they don't read the Bible. God's Word can't make a difference in your life if you're not reading it! If you know the Word, you can act on it and know what to do when you face obstacles.
Requesting and Receiving
// Lynette Hagin
AS JESUS was preparing the disciples for His departure, He said to them, "In that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now, you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:23–24 NKJV).
I have used these scriptures as a guideline all my life. I always take whatever requests I have to the Heavenly Father, believing that He will grant them. It is thrilling and deepens my relationship with Him as I see my requests answered.
