Seed Thoughts: April 2013

April Pic10//Lynette Hagin

"The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be Like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."
-Isaiah 58:11 (NIV 1984)

I Am Sure That You probably have a few favorite scriptures that you refer to consistently. One scripture that ministers to me is Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Not Guilty!

Jesus redeemed mankind from sin on the Cross of Calvary. When something is redeemed, it means it was bought or a debt was paid in full. Jesus paid the ultimate price to redeem us. He willingly shed His blood to take care of our sin issue. His blood wiped away our debt of sin.

I Was Dying

April Pic7Imagine being confined to your home for 10 years—and to your bed for most of that time. Imagine watching as your body slowly shuts down, forcing you, on your best days, to crawl to simply get a drink of water. Imagine yourself being cared for by your young child—a child who is wary of coming home and opening the door for fear he may find you dead.

Nellie Koleva doesn’t have to imagine these things. She lived them.

Special Report: International Rhema

Zambia Is Home to one of the world’s largest waterfalls, incredible natural beauty, and exotic wildlife. It’s also where Walker and Haley Schurz and their children, Timothy and Jessica, call home. The Schurzes moved to this breathtakingly beautiful southern African country in January of 2004. “We get to live where people go for vacation,” says Walker. He and his wife, both 1991 Rhema USA graduates, pastor Miracle Life Family Church in Lusaka, the nation’s capital. That’s also where they’ve opened Rhema Zambia.

Campmeeting Speaker Highlight

When We Choose to live by faith, we are choosing more than a title. We’re choosing more than someone being able to call us faith people. It’s more than a faith necklace, wristband, or hat we wear. There’s nothing wrong with those external things, but faith goes far beyond them.

Faith reaches into the innermost part of our being. It reaches into our words and actions. It reaches into how we walk in life—how we humble ourselves to God. Faith Should Reach Into Every Aspect Of Our Lives.

Sometimes when people accept Jesus as Savior—especially if they’ve not been taught—they think there’s nothing involved in the Christian life but saying, “Thank You, Lord.” But there’s more to walking in faith and victory than that.
