Heart to Heart
Will You Sing at Midnight?
It's so important that we guard against being problem-conscious instead of spirit-conscious. When we are problem-conscious, we will criticize and condemn everything we look at and think about. Everything we see will be negative. On the other hand, if we stop focusing on our problems and focus on Jesus, the way we view our problems will change. Our imperfections and negativism will fade away when we get our focus off of problems and onto the Problem Solver.
Conflict Resolution
// Kenneth W. Hagin
Conflicts can arise over anything—from disagreements over responsibilities between employees, roommates, and spouses, to issues involving doctrine, relationships, money, and much more.
When it arises in your life, do your tactics lead to heated debate, strife, and more conflict? Or do you refuse to deal with conflict by "going into hiding" and pretending it doesn't exist?
No More Bad Days
// Craig Hagin
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED HOW SOMETIMES THE SMALLEST THING CAN SET YOU OFF AND CAUSE YOU TO STRESS OUT? FOR CHRISTIANS, THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY REASON FOR US TO LOSE OUR PEACE. NO MATTER WHAT WE'RE FACING, GOD IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN WE COULD EVER IMAGINE (EPH. 3:20). HE CAN TURN ANY SITUATION AROUND.
RHEMA USA Sends Out 38th Graduating Class
ON FRIDAY, MAY 18, 425 soon-to-be graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center USA filed into the Tulsa Convention Center while family and friends cheered, whistled, waved, and took pictures. With the Class of 2012, RBTC now has nearly 60,000 graduates around the world!
Bill McNeese, pastor of Harvest Family Church in Montgomery, Alabama, and a 1982 Rhema Bible Training Center graduate, delivered the commencement address. He shared eight points for the graduates to remember before they reach the finish line in their race for God.
Sharing the Love of Jesus . . . With the Girls of the Night
"The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light."
—Matthew 4:16 (NKJV)
ON ANY GIVEN DAY in the Costa del Sol region of Spain you'll find street girls—girls of the night—selling their bodies to those passing by. They're young, and as they wander the filthy streets, scantily clad and looking for "work," they are seemingly without hope.
In reality, hope is not far away. Armed with her Bible and the message of God's love, 1989 Rhema Bible Training College graduate Joyce McNaughton is doing what Jesus did. She's reaching out. She sees something in these girls that others do not—a future. And she's loving them when no one else does.
