Heart to Heart

hearttoheartRight on Time!

It’s a story unlike any other—a story that gives us hope and fills us with faith. Of course, I’m talking about the Christmas story—the account of our Lord and Savior coming to earth as a baby.

Can you imagine the scene? The shepherds were on the hillside at night tending their flocks. Suddenly an angel appeared and spoke to them. Then a host of angels appeared, saying, “Glory to God in the highest. Peace on earth. Goodwill toward men!” Meanwhile, the magi—bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh—followed a bright star, unsure of their destination but searching for their King.

Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place—Part 2

After being under Egyptian bondage for over 400 years, the day finally came when Moses led the children of Israel out of a life of slavery. The Israelites had not gone far, however, before it seemed as though they were caught between a rock and a hard place. Pharaoh and his army were in hot pursuit behind them, mountains and hills were on both sides of them, and the Red Sea was in front of them. No matter which way they turned it didn’t look good. Their hope for a better future quickly faded.

I Don't Care So Why Should You?

I don't care so why should you?//Craig W. Hagin

Christmas should be a joyful time. After all, we’re celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. But unfortunately, this time of year can be very stressful as we try to figure out how we’re going to do everything we need to do and buy everything we want to buy. Christmas is a time when we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace. But many of us don’t have any peace.

A Seed Well Sown

Nigeria Crusades//Nigeria Crusades

Just about everybody in Nigeria knows the Hagin name—from the president of the country to the everyday person on the street. In fact, when Kenneth and Lynette Hagin arrived in Nigeria August 9, customs agents and airport security personnel asked Rev. Hagin to pray for them before he and Lynette left the airport.

To understand how the Hagins made such an impact in Nigeria, we have to go back 29 years. RHEMA USA held its first national ministers training seminar there in 1982. Two years later, a second ministry team crossed the Atlantic to share the faith message and the authority of the believer with Nigerian ministers.

Joplin Relief//Joplin Update

People have compared the sound of a tornado to a passing freight train. To one survivor of the EF-5 tornado that devastated Joplin, Missouri, on Sunday, May 22, 2011, the roar sounded as though he was lying next to the tracks with the train rumbling by at full throttle. It lasted only a minute or two, but to him it felt like an eternity. “It just didn’t end,” he said. “I’ve done a lot of stupid things, but this was the first time in my life that I truly thought I was going to die.”
