Student LifeRHEMA Bible Training Center is committed to helping students develop and grow in all aspects of their lives to include balancing school, work and family. Learn more about a day-in-the-life of a RHEMA student.

What type of people attend RHEMA Bible Training Center?
Many come fresh out of high school or college. Others come with their families, as they seek to follow God’s will. Others come after retiring from their career. RHEMA students comprise a wide variety of backgrounds: doctors, lawyers, denominational ministers, nuns, farmers, priests, politicians, secretaries, housewives, and educators are among the more than 40,000 worldwide RHEMA alumni. Each person has a particular benefit to offer the Body of Christ because of the uniqueness of his own personality and the gifts present in his life.

What are the minimum and maximum ages at which students can be accepted to attend RHEMA? What is the average age of the students?
Eighteen is the minimum age for acceptance as a student. There is no maximum age. We have had students in their nineties graduate from RHEMA. The average age of our student body is 30 years old, but the majority of our student body are between the ages of 18–25.

Is the student body comprised primarily of single people?
No, approximately one-third of our students are married. In some cases, only the husband or wife attends RHEMA, but in many cases, the husband and wife attend together.

I will have to work full-time to support my family. Is it possible to attend RHEMA, work full-time, study, and still have a family life?
Yes. Our school hours are from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. Therefore, you have enough time to be employed full-time if necessary. We estimate that 85 percent of our students are employed. Courses are designed with working students in mind; however, you will need to schedule your time wisely and work at spending quality time with your family, as family time should be a priority.
