IT Help Desk—Level I or II

Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Reports To: IT Director
Department: IT
Status: Full Time Salaried/Exempt

Position Summary: Provides a wide range of technical support to RHEMA employees such as performing installations and upgrades and helping employees to utilize software programs effectively and effectively.

Education: High School Graduate, Home School Graduate, GED Recipient.

Experience/Skills Required: Good communication skills, Strong problem solving skills, Solid understanding of Windows and MS Office, Mac OS X, Office 360, troubleshooting experience network experience, and understanding of customer relations management software. Ability to adapt and quickly learn new technologies, strong customer service and organizational skills

Physical Requirements: This position requires an individual who is able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.  Physical movement including but not limited to: bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and twisting of the upper body. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Must be able to climb and work from a ladder and / or heights of 12’

Working Conditions: Duties performed will require both indoor and occasionally outdoor environments.  Duties must be fulfilled and applicant must remain focused and on task in either environment.

Hour of Work & Attendance: Normally scheduled working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Flexibility in these hours will be required during Special Events.  Travel may occasionally be required.
