God's First Step for You

Word of Faith Magazine Kenneth Hagin MinistryIf you haven't received Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can today. The Bible says, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom. 5:8 NKJV). God's plan for your life begins with your receiving His wonderful gift of grace, His Son. To accept Jesus into your heart, simply pray the following prayer:

Dear God,
The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Rom. 10:9 NKJV). I believe in my heart that Jesus is Your Son and that You raised Him from the dead. And I confess Jesus as my Lord. Therefore, I am saved! Thank You!

 

Recommit to God's Plan
We all start out with God with good intentions. But somehow, over time, life happens, and we suddenly realize we're off track. We haven't just missed a turn; we've lost the map. Yet God is so merciful and faithful. His Word says, "He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 NIV 1984). He will help us get back on the right path. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). Our part is to recommit our lives to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. When we do, He will reignite His fire in our hearts and lead us in the way we should go.

If you are a believer who has lost your way in life, it's not too late! To get back on track with God, pray the following from your heart:

Heavenly Father,
I come to You in Jesus' Name. Please forgive me for going my own way. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to go Your way and follow Your plan for my life. I recommit my life to You. I say again, Jesus is my Savior and Lord. Relight a fire in my heart to live for Him. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit, and lead me in the way You want me to go. Amen.
