Accept Jesus as Your Healer
April 25, 2024I said to the couple, "Now we can pray." I reached my hand out and laid it on top of the wife's head.That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
(Matt. 8:17)
I said, "Dear Lord Jesus, my dear sister has come for healing. She has seen that Jesus took her infirmities and bore her sicknesses. She accepted You as her Savior and was saved. Now she has come to accept You as her Healer, and she is healed. Thank You for it!"
Then I asked her, "Are you healed?" She said, "I am."
I said, "How do you know you are?"
She said, "Because the Word said, 'Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses.'"
"That's it! You've got it," I said. I turned and walked back toward the door to the pastor's office. I looked back and saw that she couldn't get up. Her husband lifted her up like a baby and carried her out of the building.
Two days after I prayed for the woman, she came back perfectly all right! The husband said there was no evidence of healing when they got home. But she pulled the brace off her back and threw it in the closet. She said, "Thank God, I won't need that thing anymore."
When she went to bed, she had all of her symptoms. When she woke up the next morning, every symptom was gone. I saw her fourteen years later and she was still healed!
Confession:
I see that Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. I accepted Jesus as my Savior and was saved. I accept Jesus as my Healer and am healed!
