Daniel and Lesli Santos are the founding pastors of Comunidad Cristiana de Arequipa in Arequipa, Peru. The congregation was started in Pastor Daniel’s living room with 4 people and 25 years later is currently the largest Christian church in all of southern Peru. Today Comunidad Cristiana de Arequipa is a thriving, dynamic local church with 5,000 members.
Daniel and Lesli love what they do and have found time to also start 3 parroquial schools in 2001 and 2002 all funded by the Peruvian government comprising a total of approximately 450 students, one school with the namesake Kenneth E. Hagin after their loving spiritual father.
In 1992 they founded a private K-12 Christian school named Rey de Reyes which currently has 477 students, an FM radio station 102.9 Arequipa Vision in 1999 and as of 2002 are the owners of 4 UHF TV stations in southern Peru, including channel 41 in Arequipa.
Their Tons of Love Christmas Program, initiated in 1998 is nationally recognized and last December 2011 was given the award as the largest ever social program in southern Peru boasting a record collection of 120 metric tons of food, clothing and toys donated during the month up to Christmas Day by their local church members.
Daniel and Lesli have 3 children, Danny, Brandon and Brianna. Danny, their oldest son, has his own ministry as a top junior tennis player, ranked as high as 26 in the world and playing in the main draws in 2012 of the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
