Kindle The Flame Recap
“Something special is going to happen during this meeting—a breakthrough!” declared Lynette Hagin as she opened her annual Kindle the Flame® Women’s Conference Thursday night, September 24, at RHEMA Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Then she asked the crowd a thought-provoking question, “What kind of legacy are you leaving in your life?” We’re all writing a history book—telling the story of our lives. We’re leaving a legacy that someone is going to follow. The real measure of a person’s success lies in the lives that are changed because of her influence, her legacy.
First, we must leave a legacy of living a life that’s committed to God. Second, we must teach our children to live a life of honor and to respect their elders. Third, we must live a life of character. We must be honest and do what is right. We must be forgiving, be a person of our word, and place others first. And fourth, we must leave a legacy of a life of faith in the Lord.
What are you recording in your “history book” today? Are you leaving a legacy that will lead others down the right path? If you’re not satisfied with what you have written in the past, you can start writing a new legacy today!
